Keefun is a broad-spectrum insecticide produced by PI Industries.1 Its active ingredient is Tolfenpyrad 15% EC.2 It is effective against a wide range of sucking and chewing pests, including aphids, thrips, diamondback moth, tobacco caterpillar, scale insects, and some fungal diseases.3

Keefun is a contact and ingestion insecticide, meaning that it kills pests when they come into contact with it or ingest4 it.5 It works by inhibiting the electron transport chain in the mitochondria of the pest's cells, which leads to a cessation of the production and supply of energy in the cell, resulting in the death of the pest.6
