More Details

Evergol Xtend is a unique combination fungicide produced by Bayer Crop Science, designed specifically for seed treatment. It contains two active ingredients: Penflufen and Trifloxystrobin. This powerful combination offers comprehensive protection against seed and seedling rot diseases, promoting strong emergence and healthy plant establishment.

Technical Content:

  • Penflufen 13.28% w/w + Trifloxystrobin 13.28% w/w FS (Flowable Concentrate for Seed treatment)

Mode of Action:

  • Penflufen: A novel pyrazole fungicide with SDHI (Succinate Dehydrogenase Inhibitor) mode of action. It targets the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme in the fungal respiratory chain, disrupting energy production and inhibiting fungal growth.

  • Trifloxystrobin: A Qo inhibitor fungicide (QoI) that also interferes with fungal respiration by inhibiting the electron transport chain in mitochondria.

This dual mode of action provides robust disease control and helps to manage fungicide resistance.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced Seedling Vigor: Invigorates seeds and promotes active root growth, leading to faster and more uniform emergence.

  • Improved Plant Establishment: Ensures better plant survival and a higher plant population.

  • Broad-spectrum Disease Control: Effective against a wide range of seed and seedling rot diseases caused by various fungal pathogens.

  • Increased Yield Potential: Stronger seedlings and healthier plants contribute to higher yields.

  • Convenient Seed Treatment: The FS formulation is easy to apply using standard seed treatment equipment.

Target Diseases:

  • Seed rot

  • Seedling damping-off

  • Root rot
